barneybrendan
what do these units actually do and is there any beneffit from having one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HKS-AFR-Air-Fuel-Ratio-controller-Brand-New-Box-Type-L-/270896021435?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f12a93fbb
fastcar
They plug in to the ECU and controll the air/fuel mix. They are only really for minor mods like bpu as they only have slight adjustment. I brought one when i went BPU but never bothered to fit it never even took out of the box as my AFR's is fine. Not sure how good they would be at controlling it though i would imagen its quite a crude way of doing it

Tricky-Ricky
Even if there is one that fudges the MAP sensor voltage, i would still avoid them, its a very crude way of fooling the ECU, and can result in unwanted timing advance/retard which is not desirable or very safe.
