marc_p
My new Go-Pro HD Hero should be arriving this week so I was wondering if someone could enlighten me on how trustworthy the sucker on the mount is. I want to do a video for the Impreza but the track I'm taking it does get very bumpy (short and fast bumps) and I'd be hitting them at around 80-100mph. Would the go-pro mount hold? I don't really want to smash it on it's first outing. Thanks Marc

Cheers, that does help me relax slightly, although I will probably still be a bit un-nerved on it's first outing.
Guigsy
Just do a few runs with it attached to the inside first
pistonbroke
Mate, they are solid. Stuck to the front of a snowboard, they don't go anywhere. (This was recorded with your very camera ) I've seen them stuck on the side of red bull air race planes, so an impreza will not trouble it
Gaz6002
The only problem with using a Go Pro at speed is that it can rattle against the case when subjected to violent movements. I found this out the other day when some mental bloke pursuaded me to get into a four-man Bobsleigh with some of the British Olympic team and fly down a hill at 80mph. The suction cup itself is stupidly strong. Tested to over 200mph on cars
The-Plethora
I'd really like to get one of these as an upgrade to my flip HD which is pretty useless for filming anything whilst moving. Do all Go Pros have the stability control built in?
Noz
I'm sure I've seen it on a plane at 200mph?
