RB-GTE
I just purchased this piece and have it in my hand, awaiting install: http://rushracingdev.com/al.html same product on BPU TTC 4500rpm : I did my research and apparantley this is a good product so I went ahead and bought it from the US. I will go full BPU in my Supra and TTC mode. Will run around 1.1-1.2 bar depending on the senario. I do a bit of drags here and there or just screwing around. I've read mixed opinions on running these kinds of thing. Some people make it sound like it DRAMATICALLY decreases my turbo life. If its that bad I would just live without it. Any experience? or any guys using a similar setup on stock twin car? cheers
tDR
If you're talking a JDM Supra TT then you have ceramic turbos and IMO they will not be up to the abuse, you're talking combustion in the exhaust manifold which I don't like the idea of personally. listy
i have a mate with a scooby P1 who used to run antilag all the time. he blew 3 turbos, before realising it was the antilag. Now he has it so it can be switched on and off, and only uses it on the strip, which he has found is ok. So just dont have it permanently on and you should be fine i think

marc_p
Anti-lag is fine, aslong as you consider the turbo to be a consumable item, one of my friends decided to put antilag on his Ibiza once, turbo lasted about a week (and anti-lag wasn't on permanently, it was switchable). If your happy about replacing the turbos very regularly, then go for it.
RB-GTE
If your happy about replacing the turbos very regularly, then go for it. NO. THANK. YOU.. !!! I guess I will wait till I get Precision 6265 which is a lot more tough than the JDM turbos.

So you'll destroy 1 turbo instead of the stock twins, fair enough. Why do you even want anti lag?

It won't last much longer though and you'll still end up lunching it fairly regularly.
Chris Wilson
The sort of turbos the WRC cars use to withstand that sort of total abuse are circa £8K each, and even then considered totally expendable. Big big budget race team stuff, don't even think about it. IMHO.The stock sequentials have so little lag others would die for it. Safest (and I use the word advisedly) anti lag is slight whiff of NOS on launch and trick ecu timing / throttle launch maps.
