safcdixon Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 stock sidemount.It looks in good condition and im not convinced the fmic actually gives much benefit at bpu level anyway.Ben reading up on the reasons for the sidemount being where it is and the research that went into it,and that makes me want to leave it. Yeah that the general feeling from the experts on here, I cant comment on which is better, because when i i fitted my fmic the stock sidemount was totally goosed. Have to agree From reading around a good condition SMIC is fine for BPU, and an uprated (eg whifbitz's/CW's) can run up to small singles, I think Tony (TLicense) used a CW SMIC on his build a few years back with no issues and as the stock ducting was used it was very efficient Edited February 18, 2012 by Littler (see edit history) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
