I gave up drinking after uni. And even at uni I didn't drink much. Don't like the taste unless it's in a cocktail and even then the non alcoholic ones are more refreshing :p and I could never drink enough to get drunk. A few pints and my stomach is full of liquid. Any time I see people drinking (or smoking for that matter) I think of the money they are wasting.

Then people at work ask me how I can afford to run the supra every day. A 10 min commute. No smoking or drinking means I get to enjoy my commute in the supe each day :)

I'd much rather go see the sights arround the world and do things and go to places and create memories that my mates haven't than booze it up and catch an std in some resort full of chavs in the med.

Im sitting watching this program about kids going on clubbing holidays getting really drunk, Im thinking id rather be spending my money on parts for my supra and going to meets than getting really drunk on holiday now is that really sad or am i just being stupid, oh im only 22 by the way.

please let me know what you think thanks (try not to be to harsh [GRIN][/GRIN])

It's not sad or stupid.

If want to spend £100 per weekend getting smashed, that's fine.

It's only £5000 a year on booze.

But if that's not who you are or what you want to do, then good for you.

The average drinker spends at least £100,000 on alcohol in their lifetime.
