Is this a coolant return? Can I block it off? How should I do it?

Looking to get the intake side finished so just need to dot some Ts and cross some Is.

With that in mind I spotted this, what appears to be, inlet a while back. I'm guessing it's for coolant? I'm assuming it's the throttle body bypass or something like that?

Anyway, I take it there is no issue with blocking it off? What's the best way of doing it? I don't want to go down the age old route of getting a bit of silicone hose and sticking a screw in it so looking for a more sophisticated way to do it :D

Unless im much mistaken, that particular line also goes to the IACV so you can kinda extend from that point on the block and take it all the way to the IACV so as not to have a break in it.

Im probably much mistaken though.

In fact this could be just a ploy to whore my posts.

It does indeed at some point, I've already ditched all of that though.

Scott, have or are you intalled an N/A water pipe around the engine or are you still using the stock TT one with the additional coolant passages blocked off?

I didn't bother with the N/A pipe. I cut off the ends not used on my pipe and had them welded up. I'm going to use -12 hose from the pipe to the matrix.

I left mine installed, I might remove it in future but I wanted to leave as much in place whilst I got it started and running just incase I ran into trouble and had to fault find. My logic was if there was a problem it would be easier to narrow it down if I left as much as possible stock.

The less stuff in there the less there is to fault find :D
