Guest DennisMKII
Hi guys, My name is Dennis, I'm from the Netherlands. I'm trying my best to whrite in proper English, so if I make a mistake... Sorry man. I found this forum by Google. In Holland there isn't a Supra forum, so I've registered myself at this one. Another reason is that I'm searching for some parts. Maybe you English folks can help me with that. But after this introdution, I have to be hounest with ya'll. I don't own a MKIV... I own a MKII. It's a original Dutch sold CelicaSupra from 1985. It has a 5M-GE N/A 2.8i twin cam engine with an automatic gearbox. I'm very proud of it, and especially very happy with it 'cause it is in a mint condition. I hope you'll like it. http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/319517_197316790337910_100001787720858_436600_712724913_n.jpg I'm in search of blue, or a backseat. Mine has sigarette holes in it. Greatings!
Westy
Mint indeed!!!!! Looks great! Welcome to the club!
Guest DennisMKII
G2aikGPvjbI Thank you!!! Here is a soundclip. It's a bit different than a MKIV when it comes to the noise. This granny only puts out a descent 177bhp. As you can see, it's all stock. Except for the black wheels. The rims are original, but the colour isn't. I think this looks better on it than the grey wheels.
staples230uk
Nice mk2!!! Don't see many of these about round my way. Welcome to the club
Graham1984
I find it amazing you can buy cars as old as me pretty much and in such good condition as well. There are a few other members from your way as well so they might be able to help you out sourcing parts or at least with good shipping rates and companies ect. Guest DennisMKII
Thank you all very much. You are very kind! I'm hoping you have some adresses for me which I can contact to find chairs (front seats, Is that how to say it really) or a backseat. Here you can see the damage. http://5.media.hyves-static.net/1343912060/6/wcGk/0/img1343912060.jpeg http://2.media.hyves-static.net/1343912689/6/aiFE/0/img1343912689.jpeg I'm also looking for the "2.8i" sticker on the rear of the car. Here you can see the shapes of it. Are there any webshops who has these? http://5.media.hyves-static.net/1343913604/6/cgV_/0/img1343913604.jpeg Thanks very much guys! Morpheus
What's this, the 2013 concept? I wan't one! Looks to be in truly exceptional condition and doesn't even smoke. What are the miles/kilometres?
Guest DennisMKII
It has 133.000 kilometres done. It has a certificate that it was always maintained at a Toyota dealer, and that the kilometres are quaranteed real. This car was originally sold as a Celica of CelicaSupra. The Celica had a 4 cilinder engine. The CelicaSupra a 6 in a row, 2.8.i The car was made 14centimeters longer between the front door and the front wheel to make de 5M-GE fit. This is kind of the first real Supra. Is this modell well known in England? Again, sorry for my bad English.

Morpheus
Yes Dennis, it was sold here but was quite rare even then. I just found this gallery from an old site. http://www.angelfire.com/me2/suprapage/mk2.html

That car looks awesome! I do like a classic! Welcome to the club. If you don't manage to source the stickers, If you can get me a picture of the sticker with dimensions, my sign writer can do them. Morpheus
I would either re-cover the seats or just leave the holes in them. It gives classic cars what we in the U.K. call, 'character' or 'charm'!
sideexitsupra
Maybe try having a look on here also? http://www.celicasupra.com/ It is a US forum but you may find seats on here. Welcome and the car looks very tasty!

(I've got the bills) I think this is the reasson it's in such a mint condition. The bottom is done as well, and the inside as you can see on this picture. I'm the third owner. http://1.media.hyves-static.net/1174249232/6/OuxV/0/img1174249232.jpeg http://7.media.hyves-static.net/1172347846/6/dIq9/0/img1172347846.jpeg

Please contact me on this forum when you know more. You're XX looks sick man. I love the mirrors at the side of the hood. I didn't know the XX's had a 2.0 Turbo engine. What is the output and the motorcode? I really love those Japanese import babys. A friend of mine just bought himself a Glanza in Japan. My dad is searching for a Trueno Sprinter GT-Apex of Black Limited in Japan at the moment. He works for Toyota also.
captainchaos
The engine went pop in it not long after I got the car, did have plans to do a transplant but due to work just don't have the time. The car is stripped to a bare shell now, had it up for sale for quite some time. Here's the specs on the XX http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celica_xx

Mine is a MA61. I have the 5M-GE. I love that engine, but a Japanese Toyota is kind of the real deal... I also love the 4A-GE very much. They make allot of revs.
