ubersonic
Been looking at automatic Supra's on eBay, Pistonheads, Autotrader, etc and a few times now I have seen ones that have had the radiators swapped for alloy ones without an ATF cooler, some of these have also been JDM ones which iirc don't have a 2nd ATF cooler like the UKDM does (according to the model differences chart) are these just disasters waiting to happen or is the rad cooler not that important? I know the 2nd cooler can't be a necessity if the JDM car doesn't have one.
Terminator
My JDM TT had a cooler as standard. Running without a cooler will shorten box life.
Swampy442
If they don't have a cooler then yes, that's bad for the life of the gearbox
