benkei
Are many of you romantics? If so, what have you done or are going to do today for your 'special someone'? My girlfriend has never had a romantic Valentines day, so to treat her, as we work together, I got up early and came into work before her, and covered her desk in heart-shaped confetti, and got her a big card and put that infront of her computer. Then I waited for her to get in to see her face I've also got her a teddy which I will give to her later, and I'm taking her out for a meal at her favourite resturaunt (she doesn't know yet, all I've said is to be ready for 7.30 because I'm taking her out). She was so happy when she saw it, and is really excited for tonight, so it was well worth the small amount of effort it took. Funny thing is, she planned to do something similar! She got me a card and a teddy and come over to give them to me. She wanted to leave them on my desk for when I got in, but she was held up on the way. So it's smiles all-round here, and looking forward to tonight!

benkei
Thanks, she is absolutely amazing, she is my perfect girl, and I can't believe how lucky I am to have her. It's not often I feel the need to spoil, but for her I can't help myself. She's gorgeous, has an amazing figure, so sweet and caring, I can't fault the girl. I've honestly never been so happy with someone

benkei
Nice gesture that mate. Do you still work at the bank you were having problems at? Yes mate, it's the same place. There's been a massive restructure, so she has a new manager now who seems fine with it, and I have a new manager who couldn't care less, as long as I don't take the p**s, which I don't. Also he's noted that my performance and figures are above the standard, so it's not affecting my work, and there are records to proove it

AndrewOW
It sounds like you are doing a very nice thing for a very nice girl there, Benkei. As for me, I'm cooking a meal for my girlfriend, plus giving her a nice bunch of roses too. Unfortunately, I just think we're pressurised to do all this today, rather than wanting to do something as a nice gesture. It's a bit too commercialised IMO. Guigsy
Roses and a card and a necklace she has been wanting. She knew about the necklace but I left them outside the bedroom door for her to find this morning. Not that romantic but she liked it
