Good for you for having a go plus if they are done right and well it can be just as good as going out or making them yourself from scratch. Also if you don't cook often or anything it is a nice gesture as going out is the easy way out by getting someone else to do the hard work. I always used to find their is such a massive difference anyway between using a works kitchen compared to home as space, equipment ect are often forgotten about and you don't have the reassurance that if you have forgotten something that it will be there in the fridge or cupboard anyway if you were at work. It always used to make me laugh when people didn't have a mini fryer or thermostat or anything and would try to deep fry something and would burn it as you cant regulate the heat with gas or electric hobs. j_jza80
I found a post-it note in my wallet this morning and it read "dont be late from work and find me upstairs. So all the comments about sex and slavery and stuff are constructive to your original posts? Not having a go at either of the others as I think they're rather funny, but in the past and now, it seems to be me you're picking on. Now back on topic, I'm not cooking anything for her tonight. When we have our own place we will. I think home made meatballs are a winner.

Wine and candles can improve any atmosphere Good luck Dan +1 a nice touch, she'll apprecite it Some good advice here. Keep it simple, and something you know she likes. Even if it doesn't turn out the best, she'll appreciate the effort and the thought. And then you can wow her in the bedroom to make sure you end on a high. Multiple orgasms are a winner Good luck! johnny g
I cooked for Ana on Saturday night. I made us a nice steak, medium rare, Ribeye. Did that with some steamed veg, a mustard sauce with creme fraiche. For dessert, I made a small vanilla cheesecake. Decided to do that on Sat, as it's a bit of a rush to prep a nice meal and enjoy with our work commitments, so we're just going out tonight for a nice meal. Graham1984
Dan if you are wanting to make a dessert this may be a good option for you as sabayon is easy to make and just consists of alcohol, egg yolks and sugar. That is the link of how to make it and it takes just a couple of minutes and you cold serve it as a dip for assorted fruits. I know on the video they had fruits that had sat in wine over night but i dont see why you could not have apple, grapes, berries, pineapple ect in small chunks to have with a shared dip.You could always eat whatever is left over off her if you wanted

Lbm
I'd love the idea of King Prawn starter followed by lamb shank. Sadly I'm busy tonight with Mrs Lbm . I've made us a Salmon en Croute, potato Dauphinoise (I cheated and bought the tatties due to lack of time) and green beans. I like your two courses Dan. Perhaps as an idea for a light desert, something simple & refreshing like a lemon sorbet to cleanse the palette?
pedrosixfour
Now that means too possibilities,... 1. Fetish night has moved from thursday to tuesday or 2. Its another night with the vacuumcleaner Dude! You ain't lived until you've combined the two. As for food I'd recommend beans on toast. Without the toast. Or a plate. Or clothes. But please learn from my mistake and make damn sure the beans are cold.

I was tempted to go with the sorbet but i ended up Meringue nests with a rasperberry puree as its easy and its also her favourite. The lamb is already in the oven, i'm going to slow cook it for about 3 hours before serving, its in a casserole dish with carrots, leek, garlic, onions, chicken stock and red wine and seasoned with salt/pepper and rosemary. Once its cooked, i'll bin the veg, and have it with roasted potatoes and roasted parsnips/carrots which i'll coat with honey before going in the oven

Sounds like you know what you're doing. Are you a wine ponce, and if so what are you going to put on the table drinks wise?
johnny g
I think I'll give her spotted dick for dessert. Wine. Hmm, well we are both into Australian Chardonnay at the moment, so a nice bottle of Moon Harvest it is!

Are you a wine ponce, and if so what are you going to put on the table drinks wise? The recipe is taken straight off the internet, i'm just cooking it the way i know she'd like it. The roasted veg coated in honey is one of her tricks, i've robbed it off of her lol. I'm not a wine ponce myself, i know Johnny is though so i may hit him up for some advice I've got a bottle of Red Merlot as i know she likes that. Other than that i'm

Abz
Lol when i said dessert, i actually meant an edible dessert, not sex lol. We've been together almost 4 years, sex is a given Trust me when i say, no matter what i cook her, she'll always have room for dessert, both kinds lol. I wasn't talking about sex, I was referring to a sexy dessert, something that will tingle her taste buds, though light. Then followed to the bedroom with a bowl of fresh fruit... and cream... Though don't do what I did and smear your whole face with cream, she will not find that the slighted bit attractive! I think i am going with the above fella, i'm pretty sure i can cook that without too much trouble, if it goes wrong then i will order chinese My Gf is easily pleased (go ahead Abz....you know you want too ) I was wondering why she is still with you! I did try and stop myself... for 5 seconds. Oh and noticed it is your birthday too tonight, hope you have a wonderful evening mate
