SupraDan24
I'm just browsing the net now looking for something nice to cook her for when she gets back from work. No idea what i'm going to go for just yet, as long as it has a nice desert afterwards she'll be happy If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post up
Gaz6002
I'm taking Johnny G's advice and cooking both halves for myself. Also drinking all the wine.
jonathanc
Well due to my incompetence in the kitchen it was agreed that it will be a joint effort this year I took the day off this year too so it's extra point! (Had to after the big car purchase...)

SupraDan24
I'm going with sweet and sour King Prawns for a starter as she loves King Prawns, and i think i've decided on Lamb Shank for the main as we both really like it

No idea what i'm going to go for just yet, as long as it has a nice desert afterwards she'll be happy If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post up It all depends how capable you are to be honest. After being a chef myself years ago and watching others there is no point trying to do something too elaborate if you don't have a clue what end of a knife to use. All in all decide if you can make stuff from fresh rather than just heating up or opening tins ect and then try and base on what she likes and what you can do... Just stick to the main rule of it is better to do something basic really well over something that should be great badly. If you have enough time later on you could make an easy started like stuffed mushrooms prawn cocktail or a soup or something and go from there as dessert could be brought as there is no shame in that but a starter and a main should be a piece of pi...........cake. Josh
Useful as ever Josh. I'm going with sweet and sour King Prawns for a starter as she loves King Prawns, and i think i've decided on Lamb Shank for the main as we both really like it You asked for peoples' recommendations of what you should cook for your partner. No one would know her like you do, so there aren't really any useful suggestions that could be made. I was just pulling you up on your poor spelling and making it into a little bit of a joke to brighten everyones' day
SupraStar 3000
I found a post-it note in my wallet this morning and it read "dont be late from work and find me upstairs. Don't work too hard,... you'll need your energy" Now that means too possibilities,... 1. Fetish night has moved from thursday to tuesday or 2. Its another night with the vacuumcleaner

Have you already brought the things you need?

No one would know her like you do, so there aren't really any useful suggestions that could be made. I was just pulling you up on your poor spelling and making it into a little bit of a joke to brighten everyones' day Josh, firstly your trolling fella. Secondly i asked if anyone else is cooking anything for THEIR other halfs, all i said is feel free to post up suggestions. Also, since when do you have to know someone intimately to suggest something nice too cook them, i wonder how professional chefs have ever been able to make a living if they have to spend a few years with the customer before cooking them something. Lastly, missing an "S" out of dessert isn't what i would call poor spelling, its a typo. If you don't have anything constructive to add, use a different thread to up your post count. Have you already brought the things you need? Lol when i said dessert, i actually meant an edible dessert, not sex lol. We've been together almost 4 years, sex is a given Trust me when i say, no matter what i cook her, she'll always have room for dessert, both kinds lol.
