Digger009
Well my current ones have developed a leak, so I have decided that I need to treat myself to a new set. Thing is I must admit I don't know an awful lot about them, but on price and reading a few peoples posts on here I have got down to two sets that I would consider:- Meister R's http://www.meisterr.com/Site/Toyota_Supra_JZA80.html Or BC's http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1162&osCsid=90e6b2b573df8688491f8d5b29638e15 There was the K-sports as well but from looking around at people's comments on them all, well quite frankly I couldn't find any. http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1055&osCsid=90e6b2b573df8688491f8d5b29638e15 Any help that would make my mind up? I must admit, I'm torn, as loads of people on here seem to love the BC's but the comment afterwards is seemingly always "for the price". There's not a huge difference between the price, so just wondered which is best for road use? I'm not really planning on track days etc, but I'm not gonna rule it out so wanted to ensure that I have adjustables. Any help is appreciated. hodge
I've got BCs on mine Digger and there 1st class. For the money there the best around IMO.
Westy
I have HKS Hypermax 2s If buying a new set though I would save and get the KW Variant 3s. Expensive, but handling is important!
marc_p
IMO, BC's are great for the price, Meister R's are great. The Meister R's could be £1700 and I'd still chose them.
fastcar
I have heard good thing about the meister and have heard they are a bit more comfortable then the BC. I never even knew K-Sport did coilovers i though they were mainly brakes to be honest
Nic
What do you have fitted at the moment? Were you happy with them before the leak?
Supra N_A
Just fitted bc coilovers and they are amazing even on hardest setting at first was abit worried but got well used to them also the handling is fantastic!
Digger009
They've leaked for a little while and caused oxidising on the threads, so in other words knackered was what i was told. I must admit I'm still indecided, but more people seem to have the BC ones, so am very tempted to get them. Having not seen anyone with K-sports ones, I don't want to have any unexpected problems. Is there any technical difference between the Meister R's and the BC ones? Like I said, I know basics, but certainly not enough to say "thats the difference". I can see the spring rates the same, but thats all I can see, and about all I understand too.
lexmk4
I have HKS Hypermax 2s If buying a new set though I would save and get the KW Variant 3s. Expensive, but handling is important! this is what i would do. got them on the civic 2 and worth every penny. stainless steel and will look the same after 10 years of use

Digger009
Sadly the KW's are out of my price range, and I wanted this done within a month so it doesn't fail its MOT in April.

Scott
I would go with Meister R over the BCs given those options. I wouldn't touch Ksport.
Digger009
Well thanks to Jurgens offer, I've decided on BC's. It was close, but tbh I just prefer dealing with someone on here or local, and he's both. Thanks for the help everyone, I was still 50/50 till then though.
