Branners
So, many many moons ago I won a set of coilovers at the Wheels in Motion Supra event. They were from a company called Gaz Shocks and were in development so wouldnt be ready for a few months. Sadly 18 months on they still arent ready and I'm fed up waiting. So I'm after a set of Eibach, TRD, HKS or Tein springs. My stock black shocks are probably shot too so if they come with Bilsteins that would be great. Got a budget of about £140 for the springs and shocks together. Might also consider some coilovers and might be able to find a bit more money to cover those. So, anybody got anything? I want to get them fitted before Dragonball.
D8MOA
Gaz are a local company to me. Quite good feedback from my friends but there in the ford scene and obv the shocks have all ready been developed
Branners
I would be more than happy to have their coilovers on my car and give them feedback on them, but after 18 months (and having sold my Tein springs on the basis I had coilovers coming) I have to get it sorted for Dragonball. Supra_Scott
I'm taking the Eibach springs and oem shocks off my N/A to replace them with HSD coilovers. The rears are off, hoping to get the fronts sorted in the next week. Springs have covered approx 50k and the shocks 100k miles. No issues at all with springs or shocks. Drop me a PM if your interested.
Branners
PMd. Only concern is that I think the NA and TT spring rates are different so not sure if the NA springs would work on my TT. Looking in to that.
James
I currently have Bilsteins with Tein 30mm springs. My intentions are to get them replaced with coilovers again soon. If you are still looking when I do that then we can maybe work something out
Branners
that sounds like the perfect option. How soon are you going for coilovers?
James
I'm not entirely sure, I'm having to shell out for new wings as someone kindly damaged one last week. I'll see how things are looking in the next week or 2. When is Dragonball?
Chris Wilson
I think you will find the Eibach N/A springs will alow the car to sit too low.
Branners
I think you will find the Eibach N/A springs will alow the car to sit too low. The chap has said he fitted twin turbo springs to his NA so they should be okay, but I will certainly check to make sure.
