carlmhtt
IMG_0139.JPG I have just ordered a new gasket and was about to fit the water pump to my TT except it won't fit. As you can see from the new gasket three of the bolts don't line up. Also the wheel itself is steel on this where as the one I took of is a plastic type wheel. Needless to say after dismantling everything for nothing I'm a little annoyed. I'm not sure how others on here say they fitted a TT to a na when it seems clear the two are not compatible unless I'm missing something. Can anyone shed some light? stevie_b
Are they both genuine Toyota parts? I've had water pumps from autofactors that don't use all the bolt holes, which didn't inspire confidence.

I can understand minor differences but bolts holes in the wrong place is pretty major if you can't fit it.
David P
N/A and T.T. water pumps are slightly different, 4 of the holes in the casting are different. N/A gasket on Meziere T.T. pump
Chris Wilson
Nice illustrative way to explain the difference, cheers David!
