Hi!

to get this a little bit serious :)

here's a nice build that shows what is possible on an NA. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?191770-N-A-BPU-completed&highlight=header

I'm doing quite the same right now. my project will be completed in april.

The corner stones of my project are:

Xerd Header

Midpipe with custom fitted 200cell sports cat

Tanabe medallion touring

HKS DLI for NA (yes that was available especially for na - discontinued)

MINES'S VX Rom ECU

Injen intake-hardpipe

genuine TRD sports air filter

C's Short stroke Shifter (Genuine one - discontinued)

Tein coilovers

Exedy Sports tuff clutch

TRD lightweight 4-Pot brakes in front and TT rear setup

And the most important - A nice rebuild of the engine :)

and a lot of more stuff that is just being changed because of my insanity

Furthermore it will receive a new TRD LSD by next year with complete Diff rebuilt

But don't expect it to be cheap. If I had decided to go the TT route it would have cost me the same by now...

For example I sent the ECU back to MINE's to get a small change in the set up (new rev limiter) - this costed me 450GBP a month ago. - yes you can call me insane :)

BUT this will be one of the nicest NA-BPUs around (there are only few really BPU'd NA's in my opinion...)

Regards, Herbert

PS: If somebody is more interested in this I could also post some pics when finished...

Get a nice 5.7 LS1 engine from the states and have a lovely V8 in there which has 350 hp & 365 ft lbs torque

from stock without turbo's

I know a man that already fits these into RX7's and boy do they go rather well :)

Does your friend sell them or have any in stock? I have been scrolling ebay and piston heads looking for one already done for months now. One came up for sale on here over a year ago and I passed, wish I'd have bitten his arm off now.

Afraid i've no idea but think he only buys what he needs, i will try to find out if i

can but i don't have his number so will have pop round to his workshop when i

get time, bare with me.

Are you looking for just an engine or a converted car ?

Im toying with the idea of buying a nice NA with ABS and getting him to convert it for me, he's done a mkiv already so should be easy peasey :)

Looking for a converted car. Trying to find LS1's in this country is un-believable, people seem to think if they have one they have the right to print money. I seen quite a few for sale in the past but then they just dried up. I found an old s13 drag car for sale with an LS1 but it didn't tickle me. If he had a nice rx7 with a ls1 in it with the subframe in the stock position I would be interested.

Erm can we just delete that first link, tbh i was all set for doing it till i got a quote just to fit the TVR ITB's to the NA head.

Removed at your request (might want to edit your quote too ;) ). I thought it was a relevant discussion even if you chose not to do it.
