Question about building a VOLK GT-N rim out of 2 rims

so i bought myself a set of Volk GT-N's last year. the rears look pretty good and i'm very happy with them........but the front look just awkward. they have the +35 offset on a 17x8 rim.

what i don't like is that they have absolutly no lip and the spokes are sticking out of the rim (it's not that much but i don't like the look). if i knew this before i wouldn't have bought this set, but from what i was seeing on the pics on ebay it didn't looked that bad. now my idea was to get some 17x9 rim with a better offset! but since they are discontinued long time ago it's pretty hard to get just 2. so my idea was to buy aother set and just switch the center part from my GT-Ns. are they changeable at all??

i mean 2 different type of Volk rims??? or do you guys have any other options for me??? or even better a set of 17x9 +?? Volk GT-Ns for sale
