letmeshowyou
Right, as I understand it, all the 6speeds came with a LSD as standard (someone correct me if I'm wrong pls) so I was just wondering... how common is it to have an LSD as a factory option on an Auto? Anyone any thoughts?
Nic
Right, as I understand it, all the 6speeds came with a LSD as standard (someone correct me if I'm wrong pls) so I was just wondering... how common is it to have an LSD as a factory option on an Auto? Anyone any thoughts? Not all 6spds do have an LSD, on the early models it was a factory option. All the UK Supras have an LSD AFAIK and so do VVTi models. If your axle code ends with a B you have an LSD fitted, if it end with an A you don't. All those A's out there, pm me for best TRD LSD prices

RedM
My auto 4 speed Supra has LSD. It also has HUGE brakes but that's off topic.
letmeshowyou
RedM, not too off topic tho... I've been curious for ages about what options other people had from the factory - for example mine has the LSD and Bilstein Yellows too. Were your brakes fitted by a previous owner? redsupratt6spd
But the soop ones aren't very good at all for drifting etc.. Upgrade and get the TRD LSD
RedM
My Supra came from Japan with the big brakes. The first UK owner (I'm the second) wasn't aware that there were two types.
Faye Brother
I have an LSD on my GZ auto as well.
redsupratt6spd
But the soop ones aren't very good at all for drifting etc.. Upgrade and get the TRD LSD Check out my pic with the standard Supra LSD most of the power seems to be coming from the left wheel with the most smoke. So the power seems to go from wheel to wheel depends on the corner. So the upgrade is the dogs.

letmeshowyou
Dave, I read your article some time ago and found it very informative, however, it doesn't answer my question, which is why I posted. Apologies if it's offended you. Is this something you included in the member survey last year? Could options be included in the next one?
