Graham1984
Apologies for any offence caused. It's a good job I didn't post the other ones up. I thought that celebrities were fair game, especially if they weren't particularly popular or had a reputation for arrogance? H. I personally don't get too caught up on jokes as they will always happen and it would be funny to see how many people would mock those people to their faces. It's like the royals when they die and everyone should be all patriotic which does not bother me too much either as yes I understand part of our history has dies on the flip side they wouldn't give a monkeys if I died ect. All things like this comes down to taste like everything in life but at the end of the day you either like it or don't but whatever your choice or views life will move on regardless. Graham1984
That Ash. He's alright I feel bad for him as there seams to be too much stuff like that going on at the moment after the broken bonnet dispute.

I suppose likeablke celebrities would not attract the same amount of abuse. Although I respected WH as an artist, she had a reputation as a crack head and a diva. I have now removed the picture from the thread. Obviously, this thread was not created with that in mind..!!
CJ
For those who posted up the jokes etc, I am not singling anyone out and whist I thought they were distasteful, that doesn't mean i was offended per se. As I said earlier, I just find it sad that we can accept the jokes and banter for a celeb and yet offer sympathy in other circumstances. Each to their own I guess. I think you are right there but then who decides on who is nice ect. People like the only way is essex lot ,Jordan ect are all people who I would happily take to a euthanasia clinic in Switzerland as I find them in the just annoying self promoting waste's of space mould but that is all my opinion but then the public and tv create these idiots in the first place through tv ratings and the people tv tastes that enjoy that sort of thing. People forget Michael Jackson was a child star everyone loved and felt sorry for in some respects but as soon as that novelty wore off he was a strange young man with a strange soft voice, Add a few years and a few paedo scandals and he becomes a worldwide joke. Either way whether you laugh at jokes, Make the jokes, Vote for certain governments, are a racist idiot or poppy burning moron who shouts at soldiers that sadly is our god given gift to make personal choices and voice them however right or wrong. As I said earlier, I just find it sad that we can accept the jokes and banter for a celeb and yet offer sympathy in other circumstances. Each to their own I guess. I think when a club member's family member dies, no one on here knows them so they give their condolences. When a celebrity dies, people know things about them and know that no one will be offended (personally) by something they say on the internet. Normally the jokes are about the celebrity's wrong doings in the past.
Graham1984
The other thing is if Josh the post whore from west Midlands mocks Whitney it is not likely that she or her family would ever find out so no repercussions where on here everyone knows each other in some respects there could be a massive backlash for any quips. On that note I suggest we all laugh at Ed's boot release thread or Abzs drag race to cheer ourselves up.
j_jza80
Depends on who they were, what kind of celeb they were and how they died. You can't generalise on this one, IMO. Some people are fair game, infact humour at the demise of some can actually be beneficial to many. The ridicule of Adolf Hitler and the circumstances of his death have ridiculed his ideals and fascism in general. In many cases it is bad taste though, but because people are allowed to say whatever they want, there will always be someone who says what they shouldn't

Lbm
I haven't had a good hotdog in years. Apart from cinemas, I suppose the only other place are street vendors, but I don't really see these guys around anymore. Maybe in a B&Q carpark? Maybe in a B&Q carpark? Not our B&Q - they would be ushered off a bit sharpish as it is located on a rather nice retail park. The cinema option is, as you say, soooo expensive.
