Hi there, im looking to replace my daily alfa romeo 159 with something more fun, I just purchased an Audi roadster TT 3.2 quattro mk2! I really love the way it drives. I haven't got it yet but i paid a deposit. Does anyone know how many miles i can get out of it driving it sensibly on a full tank? I'm also thinking of an LPG. I'm sure many will disagree, i haven't seriously thought about it yet but im putting around 200 miles a week. If I was going to do an LPG can i remove it when selling it?

Not sure about STronic but I used to have an STronic Manual. The MPG is not bad for what it does :) I think I got around 25mpg around town and 32-35mpg on motorways. Full tank? The tank it pretty small (takes around 70 quid to brim on VPower) so you will get around 300 miles out of a tank from mixed driving maybe a little bit more on motorways.

Not sure about LPG conversion though but worth asking :) 200 miles a week commuting  Is that a month or a week? :p

You put a smile on my face:) 300 miles is good! I will be well happy if i do 25mpg in town! because mostly its start and stop. I'm doing around 14 miles each way to work and back home so 28miles a day but sometimes i do the odd extra 50 at the weekend

If you drive it sensibly you will get those figures. I've heard a remap would help even more but I've never tried so can't comment. If you push it hard though the mpg would drop to around 18-20 mpg but the soundtrack on full revs is just amazing! I would say go for few test drives but it seems you've already paid deposit? Lovely car though, very comfy inside and the Quattro's grip is amazing. Enjoy and dont forget pics!

Hey, I was driving previously for few weeks an A4 S4 convertible S-tronic and test driving the TT 3.2 S-tronic felt exactly the same. I had few blasts on the gas pedal when i was testing the car and i can't agree enough with you simply sounds amazing!

Yeah i couldn't resist paid deposit picking it up this week some time, will post up pics for sure. just need to sort out an electrical fan problem, cooling rad fans are constantly on, i hope is a silly wiring problem. I did get an absolute bargain though because of this problem. Guy was desperate for cash.

Actually i didn't sleep much last night, haven't stopped thinking about it!

pushing it hard and getting 18-20 mpg is super good for a 3.2V6! I get around 25-26 mpg on my 159 alfa TDi!!!
