Is there some sort of deal on somewhere? :D

That steak looks awesome btw, Scott!

Funnily enough, I went into the Co-op to get a nice bottle for Charlene. The one I picked up was the 2nd most expensive Pinot Grigio there, only £6.99 though. Went up to the counter and it zapped through at £4.99 :innocent:

I've been informed it's lovely though so nothing to worry about there.

The steak really has to be seen to be believed. Chazza asked me what my ideal steak would be. I simply said 20oz T-Bone. She asked if it had to be that weight as they are quite hard to come by. I said I would be over the moon with anything over 16oz. She came in the other night saying she had a surprise for me and pulled out this goliath much to my delight. Said she had asked for a 20oz and the guy asked how many it was to feed :innocent: Anyway, I stuck it on her digital weighing scales (accurate to 1/4oz so I'm told) and it's actually just over 25oz. I guess it's going to be around 20oz cooked!!

I got my Mrs some chef's knives for valentines day. I also gave them to her a few days early, and bought all the ingredients for dinner tonight. She's currently in the kitchen, where she belongs, cooking my dinner with her wonderful valentines present!! I keep telling her she'll never find anyone that treats her like i do.

My god man. You completely devoured that beef.

Did you cook anything else to go with the meal?

If nothing else, may i recommend to you parsley butter. I'm drooling just thinking about your bone Scott covered in my butter!

I imagine you are Ed, what a stunning combination.

For starters we had BBQ Ribs in BBQ sauce. Main was a 25oz steak for me with Southern Fries on the side, the Wife had Beef Wellington with mashed potatoes and peas. For dessert we both had a huge helping of Chocotale Brownie pudding with a generous helping of chocolate sauce and 2 scoops of plain ice-cream.

Now settled down picking my teeth, reminiscing that wonderful feast while sipping down a glass of champers :D
