JamieP
Got to renew mine soon, £859 with a grand excess and insured for £60,000, sky would not even quote me. Just to continue from this, Sky called me today and gave me a new quote. £1200 with a £500 excess, fully agreed value at £50,000, it is as high as they can go. Its a bit more money but i have a feeling the agreed value thing is better from sky, ive got a few weeks till i need to make my mind up. DARETT
Bit of a personal question, but are any of these quotes for under 30 year olds?... I got a quote for 4k on a stock GTR from competition car insurance

Robzki
Just had a quote from cci for £459, 7500miles limited 10k value with 380hp, if I up it to 400hp it is +£100 not sure what I should be stating the hp as don't know whether its fwhp or rwhp, will ask in the morning. It does look like you have to be home by 10pm for theft cover and not leave the house before 6am. also the track days have to be ones that they list?!?! and 48hrs notice which is fine. no third party cover to drive other vehicles, the exemptions put me off tbh. It looks like great cover for weekend drivers but not for daily drivers. I'm not sure how others have had such good quotes, were both 36/37 with 12yrs+ncb and 18yrs license holders in a low risk area.
Robzki
A lot of people seem to be getting good prices and service from CCI underwritten by Aviva so look to be pretty legit, I see that they give 5 trackdays in the policy as long as they are at, or are organised by people on their approved list. They have a lot of owners clubs on their but not mkivsupra.net, They have given a discount for being a member here, is there any chance that someone with clout could give them a ring and get us added to the approved list of organisers/events. I know its doubtful, and not sure whether the club is going to organise other trackdays but worth a try? I'm not sure whether suprapod would come under their event remit. They do list llandow etc

shh
basically managed to get my R35 with all mods declaread to 1000bhp and agreed value of 120k. fully comp and 5 free track days for the sum of £1200. unreal qoute really.. you must have evidence of work done and invoices. comapny is called competition car insurance. ;-) that is some good quote.......1% of car value!!! so do you reckon i'll get my r32gtr(600bhp) value 12k covered for 1% i.e. £120 ????? Robzki
Mine didn't work like that I insured with them yesterday and chuffed to bits with the service so far. The lovely Zoe sorted me a great price £417 FC with no limit to mods etc as long as it doesn't go over my stated hp or value. Rob

jazz1
Just a question CCI, is the car insured for social domestic purposes or does it have to be a competition track car, ie used for track days etc?
Nic
Just a question CCI, is the car insured for social domestic purposes or does it have to be a competition track car, ie used for track days etc? Yes they insure certain sports cars for normal road use, the 5 insured track days are an added extra which you don't have to use if you don't want to.
