RobSheffield
do all the main manufacturers use a similar size end tank throat? i have hard pipes going into a massive FMIC but neither pipes nor intercooler have any manufacturer stamp on them....was wondering if i can replace just the intercooler and retain my pipes
Alex
Most use 3" piping that's what you mean, into and out of the IC.
Alex
If you give us the dimensions of the IC you might be able to work out what it is...
RobSheffield
ok - i braved the rain....the dimensions are 600 x 300 x 100 the pipes appear to be 270mm around the circumferance of the pipe.

RobSheffield
Rallure, this was on the car when it came over, im looking at either a blitz lm, a greddy 3 row or the HKS one what is the Trust intercooler like on the BPU Supra?
Robert
i would probably go for a Greddy 2 row on stock turbos unless you plan on going single in the future then you may as well get the 3 row or HKS type R
Alex
600x300x100 is an HKS Type R or a GReddy 4Row equivilent.
Robert
thats what i was thinking alex as i was just looking at the HKS site, why do you what to change then rob?
Homer
My Greddy 3 row measures (almost exactly) 600x300x100, add that to the list of possibilities! Can you post a picture of it?
RobSheffield
its been driven at high speed...lots...and the front face is not in the best of conditions...along with the lights, wipers etc (paint has been stripped from the wipers!) can post pics in the morning i may well go for the 2 row..though yours runs very well on the 3row doesnt it Darryl
Homer
It does indeed run well Rob, but from what many of the 'experts' have said lately there will be no difference between the 2 row and the 3 row when using the sequential setup. Best off going for the 2 row as its a lot cheaper!
Alex
My Greddy 3 row measures (almost exactly) 600x300x100, add that to the list of possibilities! Can you post a picture of it? Oops you're right the 4row is about 123mmdeep. HKS Type R or GReddy 3ROW.
