skippyboyo1
You have too mate due to the way the shine auto diffuser mounts I'm confused lol, so there's no way to get the diffuser on without taking the spats off? Even though the spats are staying on and no carbon end plates will be fitted?

The fittings that you use to mount the diffuser bolt on via the same wholes you use to mount the spats, You can mod the brackets to stop this like dodgy rog did for his wide body. The carbon end plates you are referring to i assume you mean the vortex generators, these bolt to the edge of the shine diffuser.

Ohhhhh so the diffuser bolts to the rear arch then you put your spat over this I'm guessing hence having to take the spat off? I've read that with spats the vortex generators won't fit? DuaneT.Turbo
No worries mate, if i get mine fixed i will be getting mine asap so i need to rip mine off too, but they are staying off. All sorted, as "ripped_fear" said, the vortex generators fix the the diffuser and use the same holes as the spats... in a fasion, you may want to mark out to them holes before drilling the carbon. The brackets that hold the front up needed modding because they didnt fit, they were too long so had to modify the slots and shorten, there is only 1 location for the back centre to drill on the diffuser but you will definatly need at least 3 equally spaced to get it to hang right. I wont be going to Japshow with this inconsistent weather but should be at Japfet 2 at Donnington if you need ayn more help D
DuaneT.Turbo
Not a bad days work done today, made template, cut wings, filed flat and rounded corners, painted black behind vents and painted edges white, and moved side repeaters! DuaneT.Turbo
So i've cut my bonnet, bonded the mesh to the underside, what are peoples thoughts on rain trays? Do they have to cover the length of the bonnet or do people cover the holes and stop at that? Cheers D

scott87
i have to try and come up with something for my bonnet too so the rain runs down instead of all over my engine. ashbuster
i think i will end up making some sort of shallow tunnel running down the centre of the bonnet with carbon fibre and bonding it on with the resin.
DuaneT.Turbo
Im going to make a tray under the vents with sides on all sides apart from the from so water has to go that way. Then either try and use the original black clips or self tap it to the supports.
