Robzki
Not the greatest investment I've seen on storing a new car/bike. I thought the plan was to keep them until they are true classics and sell them for more than they were new, allowing for what you would have made had the money been sat in the bank. Si_s Supe
sold for 2740000 = £23,025 without the auction tax and any other costs Someone's got themselves a billy bargain there I'd say!! Not sure what the price tag of one of these would've been when new but I bet it was a damn site more than that!!

DamanC
I would say that's not a bad price. Potentially investment material but you would have to hang onto it for a goods 15 years.

I can only comment on what they cost all the way down here on the bottom of the Earth, when brand new, and that was $165,000 NZD For the record, the converts to about 25 quid

I would have been more concerned about the dent.
Chris Wilson
So now we know what an as new one is worth. Makes a lot of used ones look mega expensive, IMHO.

spikedjack
What something is worth realisticly and what someone is willing to pay are two different things though...
Tyson
So now we know what an as new one is worth. Makes a lot of used ones look mega expensive, IMHO. But it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If someone else wanted it at the time it could have gone for 50k. It's all relative. It was never really a realistic proposition but I would like to get my hands on one of the last Supes ever made. It would have to be a TT VVTi 6 speed in Black/Gunmetal with less than 20K miles on the clock. I am not holding my breath..!! H.
