add heywood
They are just pulling your leg mate, don't rise to it And while we are on the subject of spelling/grammar etc... "Bought" = purchased, "Brought" = to bring something... (my pet hate)

benkei
I'm glad it's not just me who picks up on bad spelling and grammar in posts, it drives me crazy! Must be an OCD thing... I really don't see what's so difficult about it? Back on topic - Are snow tyres really no good? I was concidering a spare set of wheels with winter tyres. I've never seen snow-socks before, but they may be a good idea if they're as good as you say...

safcdixon
I can't even get my supra out the garage in the snow, nevermind getting it back in my garage again, as it has a little bank in front of it , so I just use the g/f's mondeo, it's still taxed in the winter for the odd nice day we get.
