carlmhtt
Just an update to ths post, no you can't get the water pump off without removing the cambelt. Reason being there is a bolt behind the top cover so it can only be accessed by removing cam pulleys and top cover. There is also a bolt behind the cambelt tensioner wheel so that has to come off to. In short there is no short cut to get it off as I found out. I guess I'll be getting pretty good at setting up the cambelt though..lol
carlmhtt
IMG_0139.JPG I have just ordered a new gasket and was about to fit the water pump to my TT except it won't fit. As you can see from the new gasket three of the bolts don't line up. Also the wheel itself is steel on this where as the one I took of is a plastic type wheel. Needless to say after dismantling everything for nothing I'm a little annoyed. I'm not sure how others on here say they fitted a TT to a na when it seems clear the two are not compatible unless I'm missing something.
