I'm getting 1.48, are people using any assist while driving?

I am running everything except the breaking help and suggested line... the top guys is running Manual and no assistes at all! That is serious stuff, waaaay to many buttons to press at one time just to keep the car on the track!

They use steering wheels and pedals etc, using a clutch also gains you around 2 seconds on a course like that.

If you take off all assists (even ABS) you will go alot quicker, the only thing i use is manual w-out clutch and suggested line but only as reference for braking.

Im not to fused about getting better times as long as I can beat Racing Rampage for that Unicorn car then I am happy...

Just for the record guys there is another race for a unicorn car as well and this one is next to the 'King of the track' on the Sebring track with an Audi R18 (which we all will get gifted for posting a time in the King of the track races as well as a Unicorn)... All we have to do is post a time racing through R2-class traffic against a rival. Every week they will choose 100 people by random and gift them the BMW GTR unicorn car...

Also on the Forza 4 website and forum there is weekly competitions for the best design cars and there they give a unicorn car to the top 3 voted spots and you get gifted a unicorn of your choice!

1.41.978

Fair play to you sir.

I've had a couple of 1:42 laps but neither were clean.

No chance I'm getting a 1:41, love having abs and not using a clutch to change gear.

Would take too long to learn a different driving style.

On a brighter note, there is no chance Rampage is beating any of us. :)

Have any of you set Rampage as a Rival and raced him? I did, we dont get any money for beating him but he set those times on a 2nd running lap as well!

It took me 13 laps to get my low 1.43 time, the car doesn't seem to settle down till you have done around 5 laps and then if you go off track its another couple of laps, i have been quite a bit faster at some of the splits but then fluff it up :D

I will try again next tuesday but i am going to set slicks time as the rival time so i have something to aim for, but a 1.41 is past my ability i think :sly:

You guys can add me if you want - supra neil (don't forget the space)

I took too much effort really! Had to completely master driving manual with a clutch and no abs, the braking was fine but down shifting with the clutch takes some practice! At least i have set you a good challenge :D

What the button config when using the clutch, last time i checked i needed an extra finger on my left hand :D

Neil if you swap handbrake or the A button over as being the clutch you can up and down shift with your right thumb as well as using it for the clutch too which is miles easier, I only don't bother because I cba to learn driving like that again but it is a million times easier than having lb as clutch.

When I used LB as clutch it makes my fingers feel like a crippled budgie holding on to a perch, Down shifting through the gears is what pee's me off and I cba to spend a few hours learning while driving like a donkey again, I picked up A as clutch quite well but like I said above I cba even though it is proven to way way faster driving like that.
