Guest 2jz200
Hi everyone im new to the forum just a quick queestion, Is the 2jz from the Aristo 2jz (jzs147) and the supra 2jz (jza80) the exact same engine ie, are engine parts turbo injectors ect ect interchangable on the two engines? if i bought uprated supra injectors or ecu or anything like that could i fit to the aristo engine, the reason i ask is because im soon gonna be fitting a 2jz into my 200sx an before i choose an engine just wanted to know this first? Thanks Paul
Swampy442
Injectors yes, turbos, yes, but there are quite a few differences between the 2 engines
Scooter
An important difference might be the sumps...............Supra engines have a rear sump and the aristo's have a front sump.........no idea where the clearance is on a 200sx engine bay
Guest 2jz200
Are the sumps changeable I know you need the forward facing sump off of the Aristo, also what other major differances are there between the 2? 2jz swap has been done quite a few times n fit quite nicely
Lude
there are a few people on here who have aristo 2JZ powered Supras, there are a few differences as previously posted, if you look at hodge on here, i think his is an aristo engine. think looms and ECU differ slightly too
D8MOA
also water pump set up... 147's run a hydro system off the water pump for the radiator cooling fan
Guest 2jz200
yea i think you have to use a usdm water pump n not the jdm one when doing the conversion
