safcdixon
Could you not just do it on axle stands? rather then ramps, if not try a local garage see if theyll rent you a ramp for an hour.

ashbuster
i carnt get the car high enough with jacks mate and when ive taken my car to a garage they always say its too low and carnt get it on the ramps even tho its not that low IMO
Branners
I wouldnt do it with just jacks, the car will come off the jacks and squash you. You at least need axle stands. Most good tuning companies will put a block of wood infront of their ramps and you bump up that first and then on to the ramps.

ashbuster
ive heard there expensive ill have to ask then mate nevermind a mate of mine can use the ramps and do it for £
Dr_Doom
It shouldn't be expensive if everything goes smoothly.... however, the studs are prone to shearing off (they did on mine) which meant the elbow had to come off for them to be drilled out & then a had to source some studs. Luckily Chris Wilson had some in stock and i was able to drive and pick them up
jon5698
If you do manage to get somewhere to do it yourself i recomend getting some plusgas to release the bolts, and if you can get access to a compressor with air tools it will make the job so much easier. When i done mine a few of the studs come out when i was removing the bolts and they are very hard to get hold of as they have a different pitch to normal studs so i would recomend buying some before you start the job just incase. ashbuster
ohh dont say that i mite wait then and take it to a specialist then i dont have to worry lol
jon5698
It is not a hard job to do, you are just better having the right tools to make the job easier. If i didn't spend most of the day driving round exhaust places looking for new studs it would have only taken about 2hrs to do!
