Refurbished my HKS coilovers!

My HKS Hypermax 2 Coilovers were looking very sorry for themselves and we're showing signs of surface rust, so thought I would completely dismantle them and sort it out!:)

Cheers guys! It was a total pain as I didn't have the C Spanner for the locking ring and it was seized!?:blink:

Took alot of persuasion to get it loose but got there eventually!:)

 

Just need to copper grease the threads once fitted and make some covers out of a Tesco value tent and I'll be good to go!:D

How would that work Scott!? Had a look and the best thing looks like a cable tidy sock, but would mean having to fit it prior to the coilovers going on and wouldn't be removable!?:confused:

That sort of stuff I mean, industrial cable tidy ;)

 

Although a proper snake type cable tidy would do the job just fine. You just wrap it around the strut from the bottom to the top and secure it with some 2" electrical tape.
