It makes a huge difference if applied correctly. Make sure you apply around three coats over 3 days prior to use. Makes them super sticky :)

Yup, do you cover the tyres once done, i know they say their is no need but i notice a few people still do it.

Why don't you see if you can find some uncut wets in a size that fits?

Sorry for being a mong but what is the idea behind that? i take it they will be very soft? the size i ideally want is 255-50-16.

Sounds silly but i want grip but not too much, half way between a road tyre and a drag tyre would be ideal

Yes, an uncut wet or a hillclimb slick (often the same compound) is VERY soft and very grippy. Whether the grip was excessive only testing would show, but I ma sure it could be modified with air pressure changes or even camber changes. I thought the idea of drag racing was getting as much grip as possible? Or are you hardware limited by the transmission?

W58 and 230hp, 217lb/ft torque, a lot have said it will bog with drag tyres.

I used it on a set of RE55S..

It definitely works, I dropped by 400m time from 15.2sec to 14.8secs using it...

The tyres used to just spin w/o smoke, after applying the Grip it made plenty of smoke..

It absolutely stinks though, make sure you apply outside, and I recommend you keep the tyres outdoors as well..
