benkei
It sickens me to hear about this kind of thing. They probably think they're really big and tough, but they don't have the balls to say anything to your face. Unlike the car, I WOULD hit back, and they'd know about it! Hopefully there's no lasting damage, but I would set up cameras and install a high-end alarm system to your Supe. At least that'd be a deterant and help prevent it happening again. Maybe you could get lucky and someone will be over heard bragging about 'doing your car over', then you can return the favour
Guigsy
The car has a good alarm. But it doesnt do as my Clifford does in my old car. If you go within half a foot of it it screeches at you. Infact ironically it's the alarm/immobiliser that means I can't start the car and why it was parked where it was. Attero
That's just terrible. I had the same problem when parking at my girlfriends place. People didn't like me parking my nice car in their crappy estate, so they stuck chewing gum and smeared it all over the bonnet. It was a pain in the arse to get it off without scratching the paintwork.
tkddav3
mate lets all camp out n watch. ill bring the beers and maybe a large stick (obviously just for protection purposes) and hopefully find the fellow who's responsible
Gretie22
This is awful, these people deserve to have their fingers chopped off. I parked outside a restaurant once and someone decided their glass of red wine looked better all over my bonet
gavin.starr
I had a similar problem with my old neighbour, I parked my car on the corner of our street and some one came around it and gave my car a glancing swipe. A neighbour spotted it happen and noted where the culprit went to. I turns out it was a mate of my next door neighbour, when i quizzed him about it he played dumb to it. I said you either get him to own up to it, as i have a witness to it, and he still played dumb. F***ing idiot, that really got me fired up. Then the next morning there wer two eggs on my car and the direction they were thrown from were from his front door. I decided to take my supra back to my mums driveway and got my polo out as im not too fussed about that. Every morning when i got up for work I would let down one of his tires, and go to work with a smile on my face. Two weeks later I moved house, i still keep thinking i need to go back and return the favour with a drive by egging but i just keep forgetting. He drives an audi S3 so i would love to see how he feels when the favour is one day returned.

I've always wondered, if they have a crash and it's shown that a flat tyre was the cause, if they trace it back to you ann they can prove you let it down, would you get in trouble? I'd assume so. gavin.starr
If they could ever proove it i suppose i could. But i think a few bruised knuckles and a smashed up face wouldnt go in my favour either.

True, true. Better than manslaughter though! Not that I'm trying to say it's wrong, as I'd probably do the same, just thinking out loud really
tbourner
See Gavin if you know for certain who it is then there are countless ways to return the favour, especially if you've now moved!! It's the not being sure who did it which would get to me I think.
gavin.starr
Oh i know it was him because he was squirming when i told him i had a witness and i would get the police involved if he didnt own up to it. Its just the bull shite he kept on spewing out of his mouth that made me know it was definatly him. The Ba***rd, it getting me all fired up again thinking about it. This is a link to the page i started about it, with pics of the damage he did to my car. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?255075-Some-people-need-there-heads-knocking-in Hope you get it sorted out fella i know your pain. slugger1
This sort of thing appears to be happening more and more often. My Sup was keyed all the way down one side when parked outside a friends house in Swindon. Obviously just an opportunist that didn't like someone else having a nice car. Guest Amrichka
Had someone do the same to my car, onlyhad it for 3 days they ended up keyeing the front bonnet and snapping the arieal, found out it was a bloke on our street who couldn't handle the fact that I was a girl driving a supra. His hands and legs were both dealt with accordingly by my brothers and his mates. He'll think twice about damaging someones car again. I will never understand how anyone can be so jealous that they end up doing stuff like that.

tbourner
Jeez there are some right unstable people on here. And I don't mean you edd It's only fair though; a minor inconvenience over an inanimate object is completely equivalent to permanently damaging someones limbs. I work damn hard at being 'unstable' Add the word 'just' into that sentence otherwise my brothers and his mates will deal with your hands and legs accordingly

IF you're stupid enough to drive with a flat (or without knowing you have one) you shouldn't be driving. OP i hope you get this sorted mate and find out who it was. The joys of living in a town/city and not having a proper place to park (hide) your car. Im lucky i still live in the middle of nowhere....
