I was perusing (I love that word) the MR2OC forum and came across this?

Now, I don't have much of an idea of what is being said and I am hoping the more tech savvy amongst you can enlighten me but it seems to me he is talking about putting together a very cheap in car PC system.

Am I reading that right?

I've been watching these for a while cj. I also had the thought of putting one together for the car... Basically they are a cheap, bare bones linux based pc.

I've never used Linux as an OS but I'm assuming it could run a media type program for music, sat nav etc through a double din sized screen?

Correct. Last I read on it it seemed fairly straight forward to add a hdd and run a version of 'nix on it. It has a lot of potential for a cheap ass system. The only part putting me off is Linux.... I just don't have the patience for it! :D

I've been eagerly awaiting getting my hands on a few of these for a while now! Got a few projects in mind. Hopefully first batch will be available in the next week or two.

It's $25 by the way, not £. That's for the basic one without network anyway. $35 for the one with network I believe.
