That was intentional, he was lulling everyone into a false sense of security so he could wipe the floor with them this year. :D

Well in theory his season has to be better than last year but if RB have the car then

i doubt anyone will get near Vettel other than JB if its wet :)

McLaren team reveal new car for 2012 Formula 1 season

"Analysis

Gary Anderson

BBC Formula 1 technical analyst

This is a test car - as McLaren have been saying fairly loudly - and there will be developments coming along, but at the moment nothing stands out as a concept other teams would struggle to match. But McLaren have had difficulties early on in the last two seasons, so maybe they want to have a solid base to start from. Right now, though, there is nothing on this car that would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up"

He's the BBC Formula 1 technical analyst!

haha.. McLaren aren't likely to put anything worthwhile on display for everyone to see.

McLaren had a fairly package car last season, they just need to improve the reliability a bit more and Hamilton needs to stay out of trouble. :)

That's got a damn ugly beak on it, hope they don't all look like that - how come McLaren managed to make it look good?

By potentially compromising their design for useful airflow to the tea-tray and underside. This can be remedied though.

That FI car is the nicest package of the lot, so far.

Do we think that Kimi will be reasonably competitive?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/mobile/formula_one/16747926.stm

Well Kimi was the fastest driver in a Lotus on first season testing yesterday!

But it is impossible to say upfront who will be the dominating team... think, who thought a team called Brawn would come out in their first year and dominate 3/4 of that season as a new team or that a team called Red Bull would beat the super powers of Mclaren and Ferrari?!

Well there is a new team in this year and any of the other teams could step up to the mark just like Brawn and Red Bull did so I think it is an open season until the first race is done, then we can talk about who is going to be the best.
