dr_jekyll
does anybody have info on who makes active exhausts or where i could have one fitted to my xkr. i love the fact that my car is silent when cruising and generally running around but a guy came to the jag place next to me yesterday with straight through pipes and the sound was mind blowing , but far to loud and harsh to live with all the time, so as ever i want the best of both worlds so a nice active sytem that will open on WOT only wilkl do nicely. just need to find one . as ever all help is greatly apriciated. thanks you lovely bunch

fastcar
maybe try HKS Europe and see if they do them. Then i think Lee P of SRD is a HKS dealer so he should be able to get one if they do make them

Pulley
I have fabricated a couple of valve bypass exhausts in the past, there are quite a few pre made valve sections available, either electronic control, wire linkage, vac actuator ect, last setup I used a couple of truck exhauster brake valves to bypass as I sourced these inthe stainless size I needed I'm sure if you buy the butterfly valve you could get your local stainless exhaust fitter/fabricator to do wotever you want spec wise

dude
No it was a HKS one on a skyline, you only need the box , im sure you could adapt it to your own car, have a look on e.bay for electric exhaust valves they will divert to open exhaust.
