DARETT
Not sure on how many watched the game today, but it was a disgrace that Evra was being boo'd Thought they may have started on welbeck and Valencia next as well. There was quite a few racist slurs from the crowd and this guy got caught on camera as as well Kenny needs to stop adding fuel to the fire by making out suarez is innocent as it just gives idiots like the above an excuse to justify their ignorance. This guy should be banned from the club at least!

The Raven
Evra was always going to get booed its was nothing to do with skin shade. So to say welbeck was next is just wrong. As for that guy if thats taken from todays game then he needs a life time ban

Or is anyone stupid enough / narrow-minded enough to believe Liverpool are the only club who have a few idiots in a 40,000+ crowd?
DARETT
He got boo'd as he reported some disgusting racist behaviour. As Liverpool FC haven't recognised the players fault it causes fans to start a racist snowball rolling. How do we know that fan wasn't doing that to welbeck or Valencia? We don't. But it'a gonna be accepted within their fan base and accentuated if the management don't recognise the issue

The Raven
Your opening post said "Not sure on how many watched the game today, but it was a disgrace that Evra was being boo'd Thought they may have started on welbeck and Valencia next as well" There was never any chance of the crowd booing the other black utd players was there? They booed Evra as they simply dont belive him, they have never released video of Luis doing what he was said to have done, hence he got booed, as far as i know luis was convicted due to evra being a better witness than him? We boo Wayne Rooney as we dont like him? does that mean its beacuse he is white? As a liverpool fan who has been to anfield to see games against utd before i have never heard or seen any racist actions or chanting. Dont get me wrong some nasty things are said but your talking about a few assheads that think its ok to sing about a plane crash or fans being crushed! I stand by my statement above if that fan is proved to be doing that then we dont want him anywhere near the club.

But it'a gonna be accepted within their fan base and accentuated if the management don't recognise the issue Without stirring up the whole Suarez argument again, Liverpool still believe from knowing the guy that it was a case of ignorance and not hatred. Before you say ignorance is no excuse, you then have to start bringing proceedings against anyone who's told a joke about Scotmen, made references to the Welsh and sheep and anyone who's used the word "fag" for cigarette. How many are objecting? If the club doesn't act on this stuff, it shows where their priorities lie How many have seen him? All eyes are towards the game except the one woman on the right who looks shocked. How many Londonders have criticized John Terry? I could now start judging all Londonders as racist as JT is from there. Evra was always going to get booed as he always does at Liverpool, same as Rooney, same as Neville. The Raven
One last bit before i leave the thread. Why is JT being charged by police while the FA delt with luis? Simple, there isnt enough proof to convict Luis in court. If Man utd fans boo him in the league game is it beacuse he is south american or is that they are backing Evra? Jurgen-Jm-Imports
am south american born and lived there till 8 , if you called somebody a negro your implying he is a NIGGxx. he admited this and therefore he is a racist.(there is no defending him) thats it. So can you explain why the language experts and Poyet etc have a different opinion to you? Can you also explain why a team-mate is referred to as the monkey? Or are all these people racist too? Also, when Argentina were doing a tribute to a shot player, were they being racist? http://newsframes.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/argentine-banner.jpg?w=
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i cannot say why other players say that.. its down to opinion and how the person responds to it. some might feel being called that is ok but other south americans dont.. poyet is urugayan. cacares is not evra colour http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=fernando+caceres&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbm=isch&tbnid=6FICv5cqlJroXM:&imgrefurl=http://www.diaadia.com.ar/content/balearon-fernando-caceres-en-la-cabeza-0&docid=ac99iS5M7yvUIM&imgurl=http://www.diaadia.com.ar/files/nota_periodistica/fernando_caceres_baleado.jpg&w=700&h=440&ei=_UYkT7u0CYSs0QXara3OCg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=951&vpy=311&dur=1638&hovh=178&hovw=283&tx=117&ty=112&sig=102367890313964940232&page=1&tbnh=141&tbnw=201&start=0&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:10,s:0&biw=1366&bih=

I wasn't saying that Caceres was black, it's about the banner and the fact that is has the word "negro" in it. Does the team using the word in reference to another player (whether he's black or not) make them racist? Same way as any black rapper using the word "nigg*r" in rap songs. Don't forget Suarez is of black origin. How come the Chelsea fans aren't being tainted with the same generalised tones? Or is sending Ferdinand a bullet and singing songs about him ok? DARETT
If people look at this situation from a more objective view point it would be alot more progressive in getting racism out of football. Regardless of standing by your team etc, the fans should not be looking for excuses for Suarez or anyone who displays racist behaviour. I'm sure the police watching the game will deal with anything that comes up, if not they'll ask for those hawk eyes that you seem to have that no one else does. DARETT
"With Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes going head to head with Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, we could’ve been back in 2000, although the constant booing of Patrice Evra by the Anfield faithful belonged farther back in the dark ages. This fixture is innately incendiary, however for the Liverpool crowd to boo the Manchester United captain simply for being the victim of racism was utterly contemptuous." "Police have launched an investigation into claims that racist gestures were seen in the crowd at todays fixture between Liverpool and Manchester United. In yet another incidence of racism in football this picture, released by Merseyside Police, shows a man making what appears to be a highly offensive gesture. Merseyside Police say some fans were ejected from the ground this afternoon." Another fan was charged after the Oldham game as well BTW I have nothin against Liverpool FC, but when the fans have blinkers on about certain issues it is a little annoying. You cannot excuse or justify racism in any form. Especially when it's on display within such a large worldwide arena

Especially when it's on display within such a large worldwide arena Evra wasn't being booed because of the Suarez thing, he always gets booed at Liverpool. Granted the Suarez case just meant it happened during the whole game as Liverpool still believe he's full of crap, causing the "there's only one lying bas*ard" chants. Fact is Liverpool fans and United fans don't like each other, each boo each others player. Same way Man United pick out Gerrard for the "you scouse bas*ard" chants.
