I have PM'd the guy and had no response so now don't know what to do? I can't put the car back on the road without these parts so am completely stuck Ames x Edited January 26, 2012 by Gaz6002 (see edit history)
Kopite
Put up a post in the Dispute Section Amy, the guy will be invited to see the thread and comment. If he doesn't then the mods may get involved but you may need legal action if the seller still doesn't respond. Dispute Resolution
keron
What parts do you need Ames? prob best to go into the disputes section and open a case...
Josh
This should really be in Off Topic or Supra Chat (or maybe even members only) as it's not a part for sale. I'm sure a mod will move it. What are the parts and were they being offered as the wrong parts? If you've bought say parts for an NA and you have a TT and you didn't realise they wouldn't fit, then you'd probably just have to sell them on to someone else to get your money back. If the seller said they were something they're not, then it's down to them to refund you or help you out.
Mike17
Thanks for your replies guys...We bought a set of clear lenses to change on our headlights because they were really badly stained...we only wanted them as a temp measure till we can afford a new complete set of headlights...so my sprayer has taken them apart and they don't even slightly fit He can make anything fit anything but these are just not going to happen... So now I can't get the car back on the road obviously because it can't be driven!
SupraDan24
Put the old lenses back in for the mean time then raise a dispute. Edit: He's not been on the site since the 13th December, that'll be why he hasnt responded to your PM's. Mike17
Put the old lenses back in for the mean time then raise a dispute. I have raised a dispute We can't put the old lenses back in because he had to break it to get it out so we have several bits of lense (Doh!) Iky
You've got to trim the headlight body/lense to make these fit. It's quite a complex job to get it spot on. There is a how to guide on here somwhere.

Next time, put the whole light in the oven at a low heat to melt the glue holding the light together and seperate it that way.
Mike17
Seriously dude even the best plastic people in the world could not get these to fit...if they were trimmed they would not fit at all so very confused!
b_have
They will fit, mine were perfect but it's 16 hours work (never again!) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpgimage.php?do=full&p=13833&d=1231364857
Gaz6002
Changed your thread title to something more descriptive to help people searching for this thread. I've also moved it to Supra chat so you get more responses.
steve.m
As has already been said there not a direct replacement lenses there is a lot of modification required to fit them. See the link in my for sale ad for more details. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?262175-Facelift-headlights-with-clear-lense-and-black-insert
