Dnk
I was told by Sky you just need HD as the F1 channel will be in HD and you dont need any sports channels
tbourner
Aha, so that's not true of people on Virgin HD then. Shame.
j_jza80
Dude, do what I do. Cineworld do an offer where they give you Unlimited cinema access for just £14.99 a month. Got it for both me & the wife, gives us an excuse to make sure we go out more often. There's no Cineworld near York

tbourner
You will be able to watch the F1 if you have either all the sports channels or else the hd subscription But is it only as a Sky customer? I have Sky1HD etc. with Virgin Media cable.

Tyson
I will do what I do with the football, find a foreign site and stream it for free Turn the volume off and have Radio 5 on for the commentary, it won't sync up 100% but I am not paying sky to watch what should be free anyway. Branners
A usually reliable source told me that Virgin Media customers will get it free. I have not seen that info anywhere else, but my source is usually right on F1 stuff...

imi
F1 was getting too boring anyway to watch the LIVE races, the build up to it was far more interesting than the actual race. I for one am more than happy to watch the highlights. imi
sideexitsupra
Checked on this earlier as we have Virgin. It seems it will be free for those with the Sky Sports Pack. So good for us as we have this for the football already. Seems the coverage will be improved with all practice and qualifying covered. Brundle and the guy from Radio 5 commentating, Damon Hill replacing Eddie Jordan. Remember, all of the image feeds will be identical to the BBCs as it all comes from Bernies F1 TV company! Years ago I spent a night drinking with some of these guys one the eve of the British Grands Prix.
