I used them for backlighting in a greddy boost gauge, I thought it would be nice to make the gauge stand out and be a bit brighter than the dash. I didn't bank on the fact I could have mounted it on the front bumper and used it as a funky fog light I lived with it for a while but was happy when the gauge went faulty. R.
