Need help with the throttle etcs-1. Have 5 vts at blue red wire and the tps seems to om out ok but cant get any responce

engine starts runs good but in limp only revs up only last 30% of throttle. Others have said to hook up blue red wire from

lower fuse area and we did with a 15 amp fuse link. I am ready to tear off and go manual. Is there somthing we missed

If anyone has any ideas we are all ears THANKS FOR HELP, Kevin

Keep an eye on this thread:

And this one might be useful too:

I have the exact same problem, and still tracing it... Will write as soon as I find it...

Check the voltage on the Throttle Valve Motor. I don't have the +12v on it.

Thanks for geting back your wiring matches our ecu and shell with only a couple of different ones that go to the same place.

If allels falls you can put a q45 ithrottle with a couple mods on it and it will be manual but not sure about tps that still worries me

Check post 41 on the second link. You will see which connector and which pin you should check. I guess you are using the VVTi engine wiring harness. Or whatever you have modified, you still have the connector for the throttle valve motor. You should check if you have 12v on it, I am not talking about the upper fusebox connector.

P.S. Btw, on the blue-red wire on the upper fusebox connector, you should have 12v, not 5v

Yes vvti stock harness. I dont have 12v to the throttle valve motor eather and pin 3 is the only grounded wire. I ment 5v on the blue/red wire on the throttle position sensor
