SUPRA2012
Hi Having never driven a MK 3 Supra, I am just wondering, are they any good?....I have read reviews from the day, which say thing like ' aspired to by Division 3 footballers, and mildy successful estate agents!'..and that they had ' the pace, but not the integrity to be a budget Porsche'....but they look funky...old school, with a bit of Knight Rider and Mad Max thrown in!....If I were to get one, it would be a manual turbo.....but can anyone advise as to whether they can handle, and are they worth bothering with... Supra Gaz
I have driven a couple, both were single manuals on coilovers, they were pretty cool, they look awesome in black with the right rims and kept simple.

peter richards
had one in black on a k plate so the last of that type as the mkiv came out later that year, enjoyed the car but it suffered with head gasket problems once it got up to around 80k. but buying one now its going to have had that done no doubt
garethr
UK cars are invariably rusty, and the 7M engine is the reason that the JZs are so good. A manual JZA70, in the other hand....
Branners
Heavy car, so handles badly compared to a mkiv, head gaskets were a serious issue, rust is a major component of the body work now and the brakes dont really like much abuse. It was a grand tourer more than a sports car. I owned 2 and they were great, but wouldnt go back to one now.
Guigsy
My dad had an na 3l and pulled the caravan with it Head gadgets were down to the factory torque settings being wrong. and they didn't recall the cars. I remember seeing somewhere there is a recommended setting that people don't have issues with
