Havard
Long shot this but Vicki and I are coming to London..whohoo..!! We were hoping to watch the super Spurs while we were down and they play Watford in the FA Cup on Friday night. After contacting their ticket office they will not sell tickets to anyone who is not on their data base of fans. I have even e-mailed them with some spectacular lies about my wife being a fan and I wanted to get her tickets as a surprise for her birthday. Even this pack a fabricated fiction did not get me anywhere. Is there anyone who is a registered Watford fan who would mind buying me some tickets? I will then pay for them either as cash or do a bank transfer or whatever said person is most comfortable with. I just want to go the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. H. Havard
I knew this was a long shot but at least take the pi55 out of my lying to their ticket office..!!
jim
I'm guessing you're a Spurs fan H? If so, Watford fans would only be able to get you tickets in the away end. You might be better trying to search for your local Spurs supporters club and getting in touch with the same story, they might have an allocation of tickets bud. I think Spurs will run the same system where they only allocate tickets to fans who are on their data base. Living in Wigan, I have not been to White Hart Lane for years and always try to watch them when they play locally. This game is not open to the general public so only genuine fans of both teams can buy tickets. I find it surprising that my money isn't good enough, even though there is obvious availability. H. DamanC
Give me half hour. I cant have you shacking up with that dodgy Watford lot although it would be funny I have access to the DSI Box most games....
jim
Nice one if Daman sorts you with a box H I think all clubs have gone that way, you need to be on the database so that you can be identified in the event of a problem or trouble. I get my tickets for Anfield from a mate in the local supporters club, they get an allocation based on the number of season tickets they hold and if there aren't enough members wanting to go to the match then they're usually glad to be able to sell them on. Plastic cards now for Anfield too, no more paper tickets.

The last time I went to Anfield was 1985 when Garth Crooks scored and we won 1 - 0 for the first time in 73 years. H.
