stevie_b
It does make excellent ironing TV: you can half-watch it and still not miss a thing.
Vicky
I had the pleasure of watching top gear filming a part of tonight's episode at lydden race track, they are extremely funny blokes! I had never realised how small Richard Hammond was either!

O and that Mr2 that won the whole thing has a v6 in it

johnny g
Was it s rouge one. Supra na engine I thought? It'll be either a 2GR-FE, 3VZ-FE or a 1MZ-FE. Woodsport do the best V6's if you ever want one. Supra engines do not fit in MR2's.
bondango
Yeah i dont think i cringed during that epsisode. on a side note the Camry v6 3VZ engine and box is a great conversion for them, gearbox a strong one to boot. not many of them around these days though ;(

They bolt up the stock MR2 S54 or E153 box.
bondango
E53 Camry box has different ratios and dual syncros compared to any E153 3sg box, gearbox in my 3s-nat drag celica used an E53 but with cusco lsd IIRC

Sorry i sold that car, guy promised to put it back to racing and broke it 8 hours after taking it away..sad day

Dnk
Can the M5 use its power though ? i seem to remember the old one wasn't that quick against some other cars even though it had a shed load more hp.
Samurai 20V
New one's still ugly, though (IMO). I actually like it compared to the older one.. Can the M5 use its power though ? i seem to remember the old one wasn't that quick against some other cars even though it had a shed load more hp. It must weigh a bit, its a solid car...
