Dim Sum
Just wondering could a lightweight Crank pulley and alternator pulley be done as well? Edited February 16, 2012 by Dim Sum (see edit history)
Rob_Mitchell
Apart from looking nice will the 700odd grams weight saving have any affect on the engine? These are very light weight and so strong, the best material is used in making these. You cant compare these to the whiffbits ones. Paul does his thing, i do mine. At the moment I am steering towards unorthdox pulleys because they have an idler pulley and are in use the last few years It would be interesting to have a comparison summary versus pulley sets available

You are not a very good sales man Was just wondering if the raw materials/maching method used or strenght of your sets is what differentiates them from the others If it is just down to the design pattern, it makes it alot easier ; hopefully you go ahead with the Idler wheel, then it will come down to yours versus unorthdox ; what puts me off the Whifbitz sets is the machined Logo in them (For me the font and the Volume of letters takes the look off them)

We use the best machining ally possible. Dunk posted the details of the ally being used on the previous page. The idler will be something ill consider at a later date mate but just not yet im affraid. Paul does do his sets without logo too, i have a whiffbits set on mine.... going to change a pulley or two now though

downimpact
These look great and very interested in anodised blue. My only question is whether there can be any issues with lightening these parts or is it all win, win?
