bigbloodyturbo
Well its only taken me since last January but I've repaired the blown headgasket and fitted my single turbo at the same time. Its nowhere near finished yet and looks decidedly messy under the bonnet but I have started it and its firing on all cylinders and there are no leaks from the feed or drain and its whistling nicely lol. And for a car that has sat for over a year not working and for 3months with no cylinder head it started on the 3rd twist of the key. For anyone thinking of doing this in their spare time I would recommend it as the feeling of satisfaction is immense! No doubt there will be some bits that will break and cause me heartache before I get it mot'd but im still on a high from it working again so Im no caring right now

bigbloodyturbo
Fantastic, bet it felt great. I'm looking forward to and dreading that day all at the same time yeah, i didn't really need to start it, have tons left to do but I'm doing it in my spare time at weekends when im onshore and I needed a morale boost. Quick nip to the motor factors for anti freeze and moral boost achieved lol. I still have to finish my down pipe as its only tacked together to get it pointing in the right direction. Also need to plumb in the triple pump hanger and the fpr, have no idea how to wire in a syvecs but no doubt I'll find out.

bigbloodyturbo
will try and get some pics tomorrow when I fit my fmic. Im well chuffed with it, the car has been sat for so long in pieces that i was getting to the point that i thought it would never run again. Has to be said though that if it weren't for the forum and some of the members helping me out with some kit that I would never have even started fixing the headgasket on my own let alone attmept a single conversion. Some of the writeups that some chaps have taken the time to post up where priceless when I was stuck (3 nuts on the exhaust manifold that i couldn't even see let alone get a spanner on and the mysterious phantom bolt that held the intake manifold on even though I could of sworn I had all of them out). I'm now away to punch the air some more:d
