Style
Anyone been watching this? I think it's been fantastic and one of the best programs to come out of British TV in a LONG time. And now I feel like I need to unload some thoughts as to what the hell happened at the end of season 2 last Saturday. Sherlock appeared to have met his end, but escaped it all....how?? Surely Molly had some role in the whole stunt after Sherlock approached her before the finale? Sherlock made sure he placed Watson EXACTLY where he wanted him to be, obstructing his view of Sherlock actually hitting the ground. I'm guessing that's key and where the trick takes place. The garbage truck hovering around could have been a part of the whole plan. Breaking Sherlocks fall or something? The biker that bumped into Watson after the fall seemed to delay him for a good while before he could reach the scene, maybe giving time for Sherlock to escape? Being so traumatized, could Watson have mistaken Sherlock for an identically dressed, wigged up doll or corpse? (Molly having easy access to the morgue she works in) Season 3 was commissioned at the same time as 2 so we'll certainly find out what happened, but it is not expected to hit the screens until this time next year. So many theories and explanations kicking about the web too. Some plain crazy, some fit pretty well but mostly have at least one crack. The writer is certainly enjoying watching the viewers squirm: http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/2012/jan/20/steven-moffat-sherlock-doctor-who?fb=native&CMP=FBCNETTXT9038 Any thoughts? Lbm
Very enjoyable series - I didn't see the first series though. Thoughts as to how he did it? Don't know Martin Freeman is busy being The Hobbitt for the next couple of years, so hopefully Sherlock will return after that. Also, I see Benedict Cumberbatch has got himself a gig in the next Star Trek film, so he might have some kind of Hollywood career in the making. snake
1. watson was told "where to stand "so the shooter could see him and only see sherlock on the "roof" 2. The lorry contained "now deflated airbags" which sherlock fell into at the same time watson was knocked over by the bike. The lorry drives of just after sherlock is seen on the pavement. 3. The medical staff are friends of the female doctor /lab worker if you look carefully one of them stops watson from trying to take his pulse reading by pulling his arm away . 4. Elementary my dear watson.

Style
Shame we've got to wait so long But I guess their other movies etc are looking to be big as well so its not all that bad. Just gonna have to try and forget about it until the third season makes its appearance. Few people have also tried to argue that it was the real Sherlock on the ground when Watson took his pulse and he was playing the old 'ball under the armpit' trick to fool Watson. Afterall, he was playing around with a stress ball in the lab before the final scene. Though I am liking Snake's theory with the lorry.
