Ian W
My car is old, the seats go perfectly The second ones definitely look newer - a la the porsche seats recently shown here, Audi RS, Renault / Vauxhall Recaros etc If I were buying them for a Supra, I'd say the second ones. For my car, the older design suits better. The first ones look cheaper to me tbh, the material looks a bit tacky. Perhaps just the picture mind you... TuneR
Is £480 a seat expensive Does that include the rail? Id be more of a fan of the more modern looking one
johnny g
Prefer the second ones myself (and without the red stitching!)
sideexitsupra
Um, arent we all missing the point? Go and sit in them and decide which one fits you best. The one that gives the right support in the right places. The one available in the right width for you hips and shoulders. Thats why I bought the Recaros out of Paul Whiffs race car when he sold them and not ones from SteveL's car. The ones SteveL had looked far better but were not quite the same shape and were slightly narrower. Surely the aesthetics are of secondary importance? As I said, I would also choose the second ones due to the base of the seat. It's far lower than the recaro type and the seat bolsters are better shaped to be more accomodating to a larger posterior
mwilkinson
I like the first set. I considered the idea that the second ones were a more modern design but I just can't get over the cheap silver looking belt holes. The first one is more in keeping with the Supra and the belt holes are much more subtle. I think I might consider a set of these over leathering my stock facelifts!! The right seats are the ones that fit you best and give you the best driving position surely?

You think so? I said the reasons I would choose them. I didn't say he should choose them because of those features.

pezzler
I personally prefer the 2nd set, less chavvy and they look more like something you find in a modern sportscar OEM interior
