hodge
16 row would be the smallest I'd use. Anything else is a bonus. Just make sure it's located well in direct air flow (not behind the intercooler).

Scott
19+ is generally the recommended size, the most important thing is the size of the lines though, you don't want to reduce any of the flow.

Gaz6002
Nice Bob Dylan reference Make sure you go for one with a thermostat, otherwise your oil will take ages to heat up.
Scott
19+ so itll be worth it to just bite the bullet and get the 25!!! I'm not really sure to be honest. I would say that it won't go wrong but it may be overkill. Better too much than too little though eh. My oil cooler is a 19row but I don't plan on any particularly heavy use with my car. mark newman
What about 2x 25 just to be sure
hodge
A 25 row is fine. Go for a -10AN line and keep the lines as short as possible. Depending in how worn your oil pump is it will lower your oil pressure the longer the lines are.

hodge
Not really. Locate the cooler, fit a take off plate to the oil filter housing, measure the distance between the take off plate and the cooler and get the lines made up to suit. I can get Teflon braided lines very cheap. All I need is the length and wether you need straight or 90 degree fittings on the end.
garethr
Can a cooler be too big, or does it not matter if there is a thermostat operated bypass?
hodge
You only need a thermostat if you remove the stock oil cooler.
Luxluc
I have a 19 row oil cooler. Temps have always been fine on track. My engine temps have never gone beyond 101°C on the Ring.
