I thought just to make everyone feel better and to start off the weekend NA bashing there may as well be a thread dedicated to taking the mick out of what NA stands for or just all the jokes people have about how slow they are or what a waste of money they can be and the crime they commit be being called a supra, Even quips about what cars or buses are faster.... animals as well.

I'm sure The Raven can make good use of this thread. :)

And here i am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The N.A supra what can i say? All show no go? I still fail the see the point of them! granted the engine runs of dregs of cow poo and never needs servicing, but you have to wonder when its cheaper to put a new engine in than change a cam belt.

How can a n.a engine still drink nearly as much as a TT engine on a run? How can one block be sooooooo untunable its worth more in scrap?

Changing the plugs is a PITA, Getting a front brace to fit is the same, however i wouldnt worry about that as there are few chances of going fast enough to worry about that. (down hill with a force 6 storm)

Most diesels are faster than it

The sheer look of disappointment on peoples faces when you tell them its not a Twin turbo should be enough to never admit it again. I considered my N/A engine to be a squatter, one i have only just evicted.

In short see my sig

For me NA stands for its power i.e Non Available.

Oh and Mr Raven, glad i made it into your sig :D

And whilst on the subject of NAs why am i the only pleb that has NA in their name? i suppose it makes it easier for people to see that i am scum of the forum without even reading my posts. I can see a name change coming up very soon.

I think your wrong personally.

I have an NA Aerotop.

I couldn't of had an Aerotop TT without spending new car kind of money so I bought the NA.

It's still a quick car, it still puts a smile on my face and it still has all the godly supra styling.

People who slate NA's really are just snobs and are encouraging no form of club spirit, at the end of the day, they are still Supras, they are bomb proof, gorgeous, and still have enough power to have a laugh in.

You don't catch people like JP slagging off NA and he has 1300hp. He could quite easily slate all you, but he doesn't.

I do like my NA I just like poking fun at it on here like Neil-NA or Kayla and the kappa crew. It does make you wonder how out of a 3litre straight 6 they only have 220bhp and you get the vxr's that have more.... I also am wondering why my ponies have left the stable and seam to of been replaced by the oldest/most tired donkey from Blackpool beach waiting to be put out of his misery via shotgun.

Think how "Supra N/A" feels. They now own a TT :D

I feel bad for the ones that like their NAs, having them slated all the time.

Not really, I ran at Santa Pod last week, and as stated in the thread, I didn't lose to anything other than a Seat Ibiza Cupra running 250 bhp and I still beat him from the launch.

I also raced a 1.6 turbo'd civic coupe and a turbo'd EK civic, a MG ZS180, a 200bhp Astra Van,

I have photos as proof...

I love my pride and joy (NA) silver manual sz supra

The NA bashin is a bit of fun but does make this club feel a bit elitist and doesn't promote much of a club spirit unless you are lucky enough to have a tt

I love my supra and in these hard times have worked very hard to get it

That all being said NA means Nearly Awesome
