Notts_TT
Hi Took to Supra for a quick Blert today to see how it runs after full BPU. I noticed the afr reads 10 when cold, 12.5 at warm idle, 11 when hard accelerating and 14.5 when crusing at 60... Also i fitted a 1 bar rr and have wired in a aem truboost, i havent touched the boost controller yet but noticed it was boosting at 16.5 ish psi, is there no need for the truboost ???, should i adjust gain feature ? Please let me know what you guys think... Thanks [GRIN][/GRIN]

Josh
whats 16.5 psi in old money? 1.13 bar.
Notts_TT
That's without touching the boost controller, as it comes out of box ? Should I just set gain to help it spool quicker and leave boost setting as 1.1 bar of boost is good ya :-) What about the afr levels ?? Robzki
The afr's don't look right to me, mine runs 12-13ish cold then pretty consistent 14.5-14.8 when warm, idle or on a run. Possibly o2 sensors? Personally I would check the fuelling before 'blerting' anymore R.
Notts_TT
Do I need a rolling road company to check this ?
Robzki
Depends on how mechanically minded you are. I'd try a search on here for 'o2 sensors' It has been covered numerous times and are prone to failure at this age.
Robzki
who did the 'full bpu'?

Scott
I get around 11-12 cold start. 13.5-14.5 once warmed up. On a run around 14-15.

Scott
Make sure you are checking the warm idle when the car is actually warm. It takes a lot longer to get to full temp than most people think it does.
Ian C
Your cruise values are spot on, so I'd expect warm idle to be correct as well. The oil temps have to be around 50degC before it drops into closed loop. If your O2 sensor is "bouncing" around a value then it's in closed loop, if it's a steady value it's still in open loop. Also, there isn't really such a things as a "1 bar restrictor ring", as each car can be different. You probably need a narrower ring if you really want 1bar of boost, but I wouldn't worry about it as you'll just run richer and have less power
tooquicktostop
Now turn the boost controller up to 1.2 bar and enjoy !!

Scott
What should it be pal ??? I think mine used to sit around 14-14.5, could be a little off though.
